A lord afflicted with Be'lakor's Shadow.
Be'lakor's Shadow is a
Warriors of Chaos mechanic unique to the
Shadow Legion faction.
Overview[]
Enemy Lords affected by Belakor's Shadow will die after several turns. They will reappear as Daemon Princes under your recruitment pool.
In order for Be'lakor's Shadow to become active, an enemy army led by a Human Lord must be defeated in battle by Be'lakor or a Lord of the Shadow Legion. Another way to activate it is for a Hero to perform a successful hero action against the enemy army.
When an enemy Lord is afflicted with Be'lakor's Shadow the player must wait for 10 turns for the effect to be completed in addition the affected lord will spread Chaos Undivided Corruption: +8 (local province). When the 10 turns have passed the Lord will die and be turned into an Undivided Daemon Prince which will be added into the recruitment's pool.
Targets[]
Be'lakor's Shadow can only work on non-legendary human Lords from the following races:
Removal[]
The Shadow can be removed:
- The affected Lord must defeat an army led by Be'lakor or a Shadow Legion Lord in battle.
- The Shadow Legion faction is destroyed.
- Disbanding the affected Lord will remove the Shadow.
Notes[]
- Despite the Warriors of Chaos having human Lords they cannot be affected by the Shadow.
- If a Lord is a faction leader they cannot be affected by the Shadow. This is true for all faction leaders, so also normal lords like Emil von Korden of Marienburg, or Adalhard of Lyonesse.
- Be'lakor's Shadow only works on regular lords and attempting to use it on Legendary Lords will not work.
