The Bone Road is a northern area of the Mountains of Mourn. The Bone Road itself is a scarcely used spur of the Ivory Road which leads deep into Ogre territory, trodden only by those who wish to either marvel at or harvest the massive, bestial skeletons that litter these peaks. They belong to creatures that have long since departed this world, and the awe-inspiring size of them makes clear that, however large and ferocious the creatures that inhabit the Mountains of Mourn are now, they are cockroaches in comparison to what their predecessors were.
The Ogres themselves also use this road in order to pay pilgrimage to their lesser deity, the Fire Mouth. It is almost as hard to miss as the Great Maw itself - a massive, active volcano which is perpetually spewing soot into the sky and oozing meandering flows of lava. The cult of the Firebellies is situated here, ready to administer the unspeakable test necessary to any who wishes to join their ranks.
