Brotherhood of the Bear is a Kislev faction introduced in Total War: Warhammer III.
Background[]
The Brotherhood of the Bear is a Kislevite military order of Ranger-Templars that serves Taal, the god of nature and beasts in the Old World Pantheon. They specialise in carrying out skirmish actions in forests and rough terrain.
Tzarina Taira Pavlovna of Kislev formed this unusual knightly order four centuries ago as an answer to the pleas of those Kislevites who lived on the tsardom's borderlands and were constantly harassed by marauding Orcs and Chaos Warriors. These unusual knights were trained in the tactics of ambush and guerrilla warfare and their superior equipment, experience and careful preparation have guaranteed many victories for Kislev over the years.

Strangely enough, this faction will be led by a Boyar if you are playing as Malakai, not sure about other factions. Sometimes, it's a Druzhina.
It takes Azazel 4-5 turns to destroy this faction, so if you're playing as anyone nearby, be prepared to face them early as Azazel has a tendency to declare war on anyone nearby, which is mostly one of these: The Great Orthodoxy (most likely), World Walkers, Wintertooth and Clan Moulder. If you're playing as World Walkers, try to reach this faction as soon as possible to attack Azazel, and try to make it near this faction's settlement/army's reinforcement range to get some extra help in the battle.
