Canopic Jars are a unique resource for the Tomb Kings. Ancient containers filled with arcane energy, Canopic Jars can be collected through missions, buildings, as post-battle loot or post-battle options. They are used to awaken powerful units, unlock techs, perform rites and to craft unique items in the Mortuary Cult.
How to Gain[]
- Dilemmas (though some also cost Canopic Jars for better outcomes)
- The Harvest Organs Post-battle options: Provides 30 Canopic Jars per battle (regardless of enemy army size, though a very small enemy army might not offer this at all)
- Tomb Kings Lords and Heroes can passively generate 1-3 Canopic Jars per turn in their skill tree
- Occupying and razing settlements provides 30 Canopic Jars each, it is possible to do this several times on the same settlement
- Most landmark buildings (such as the various Pyramids that can be built in many of their starting region settlements) and the Royal Burial Chamber in major settlements generate a few Canopic jars every turn.
