Description[ | ]
Nurgle’s Champions include some of the most foul and disgusting of all Chaos Lords. They are grim individuals, wholeheartedly believing their only sources of fulfilment to be little more than suffering, sickness and war – preferably all at once! Their heavy suits of armour often conceal heavily-diseased forms, yet with Nurgle’s blessings they command His hosts with otherworldly strength and resilience, fearlessly wading into the horrors of battle, bloodthirsty and plague-ridden. It is a Lord of Nurgle’s belief that to attain true understanding of themselves and the world, they must cast aside all the trappings and delusions of life to promote Nurgle’s truth: all is despair!

- ▲ Armoured & Shielded: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage. Shields have a chance of blocking arrows, bolts, rifle shots and similar small arms fire - but only in a forward facing arc.
- ▲ Melee Expert: Melee Experts might have a very strong melee attack or melee defence, or high values in both. Some also have melee-focused skills like Charge Defence. Use them to counter other strong melee units. When facing them, it is best to take them out before they can enter melee.
- ▲ Poison Attacks: The poisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage and/or apply the Poison! debuff.
