When the Gods turn their glance, the air about the Warshrine crackles with blasphemous power.

Chaos Warshrine is a Warriors of Chaos monstrous unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III with Champions of Chaos.

Recruitment[]

Description[]

Ever conscious to have their actions catch the eye of their diabolic masters, the Ruinous hosts bring blasphemous icons and unholy relics to battle upon vast Warshrines. Large altars mounted atop iron platforms are borne aloft by lumbering mutant beasts of burden, who themselves fight with unholy fervour. As man and beast alike wreak slaughter in their patrons’ names, they pay tribute by condemning the souls of the slain, offering up prayers and sacrifices through their altars in the midst of battle like sweet nectar to the Gods. The presence of a Chaos Warshrine empowers the warriors that fight before it, the blessings of the Ruinous Masters manifesting in the faithful nearby.

Attributes[]

  • Support Monster
  • Chaos Warshrine: The presence of a Chaos Warshrine empowers the leadership of any nearby friendly units. Additionally, any entity (friend or foe) that is killed near the Chaos Warshrine increases the intensity of the "Giver of Glory" ability.

This is something similar to Zhangu War Drum or Grail Reliquae: Large, clunky and vulnerable to anything that has anti-large or AP, provide amazing constant buffs to nearby army which you should put in the frontline (Entire of Warrior of Chaos roster is composed of "frontline" anyway).
