Colleges of Magic is a gameplay mechanic for The Empire unique to The Golden Order, added in Update 5.0.
Overview[]
This mechanic allows Bathalsar Gelt to access the Colleges of Magic, enabling recruitment of Battle Wizards and special campaign actions that grant various bonuses by spending Arcane Essays. Arcane Essays can be generated when Battle Wizards take part in battles. The more Wizards that are on the field, the more Arcane Essays will be generated. Each College has 3 Repeatable Actions and 2 Single-Use actions with the only exception being The Golden Order, having 4 Single-Use Actions.

Note: Gelt is the only Lord that can be targeted with "Compelled Corrosion" being a Gold Wizard himself.
