Those raised to Daemonhood by the Plague Lord walk the world revered by His grandchildren and feared by all.

Recruitment[]

Description[]

Nurgle’s mortal champions, who excel in bringing plague and Ruin to civilised lands, are sometimes rewarded with Daemonhood. It is a rare occurrence, for most die long before they pile enough worm-riddled corpses high upon His decrepit altars. For those who achieve the transformation, their bodies enlarge as horns, talons, tails, and sometimes wings sprout from their changing forms. All manner of contagion erupts over their new bodies, yet they treasure each festering cyst and scabrous blister more than ever. In the mortal realm, their leadership is rarely questioned at the helm of Nurgle’s hordes, venerated as veritable gods but forever to be glorified slaves of the Plague Lord.

  • Wh3 dae daemon prince Wizard Lord

Strategy[]

Flying, tanky, fast and respectable in melee. There's nothing else much to say other than a severe lack of bombardment spells. Despite using the Lore of Nurgle and Death combined, the Daemon Prince of Nurgle lacks powerful infantry-clearing spells such as Blight Boil or The Purple Sun of Xersus. Fleshy Abundance and Spirit Leech should help him dueling against other Heroes/Lords along with his passives. Put this Lord against anything, and he'll do a somewhat decent job. Of course, without assist from other units or spells, this Lord will probably lose against melee-dedicated Lords or Legendary Lords, or have a hard time against anti-large Heroes.

Notably, since this Lord is no longer mortal and considered Daemonic, this Lord will not rout from the battlefield so try not letting them getting their leadership into dangerously low levels because Daemonic unit suffer from a condition called "losing health when leadership is low" along with "losing even more health when there is no leadership". Depends on his previous Lord option, he will also gain a trait that will either make him better at spellcasting or fighting.

The WoC variant is stronger than the Nurgle variant due to having more interesting and powerful skills in the skill tree, though this piece of information isn't really relevant, as if you're playing as Nurgle/WoC, you'll only have access to your respective variant of Daemon Prince of Nurgle and the odds of your Nurgle/WoC Daemon Prince of Nurgle clashing against opposite Daemon Prince of Nurgle is quite rare.
