Deadwood is a large seaside province located in the Naggaroth region, introduced in Total War: Warhammer II and available on the Eye of the Vortex, Mortal Empires and Immortal Empires campaign maps.

Background[]

The Dark Elves' power finds its outer limit here, in the far north-easterly extreme of Naggaroth. Though a bleak place even by the standards of the frigid continent, and beyond the major strongholds of Ghrond and Har Ganeth, it remains strategically important thanks to it controlling the entrance to the Sea of Chill. Dark watchtowers thus dot the coastline, and walls of obsidian guard against the chaos wastes and Norscans beyond.

Campaign[]

Eye of the Vortex & Mortal Empires[]

It has four settlements, all with frozen Frozen, including its province capital, The Frozen City, and minor settlements, Dargoth, Nagrar and Shagrath.

Timber can be extracted in Nagrar and Obsidian can be mined in Dargoth by constructing the appropriate buildings.

Dargoth and The Frozen City are landlocked so only Nagrar and Shagrath have ports .

At the beginning of the game, Deadwood Sentinels and Ghosts of Pahuax, start in this province.

There are no major changes between the campaign maps for this province.

Immortal Empires[]

The province in Immortal Empires has only three settlements, unlike the Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires. The Deadwood Sentinels start her together with their neighbours, Da Cage Breakaz. Only Nagrar features a port but both the Timber and Carved Obsidian resources are still available in the province.

For Warriors of Chaos factions The Frozen City is a Dark Fortress.
