Deff Creepers (Forest Goblin Spider Rider Archers) is a Greenskins cavalry unit. These arachnid aberrations make for powerful, terrifying mounts, bringing eight-legged death to their cowering foes.
The pull of Skarsnik's growing Waaagh! had lured the most infamous of goblin raiders to battle. All the way from the forests of the Old World, Grobspit and his Deff Creepers came to join forces with the night goblins. A master ambusher himself, Snagla and his wall-crawling spider rider mobs had proven themselves in dozens of wicked exploits around the Eight Peaks. They had only recently ended their running battle with the dwarf rangers that roamed the mountain – severed dwarf heads adorned the spears and totems of this fierce mob as they lined up under the banner of the Blood Feathers warband.
- ↑ Poison Attacks: The poisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed, damage, and vigour. Applies the Poison! debuff.
- ↑ Regeneration: Regeneration allows a unit to heal while in battle. Fire is known to harm this healing process, so be warned that flaming attacks will cause more damage to units with Regeneration.
- ↑ Stalk: This unit can move hidden in any terrain.
One of the only units on the Greenskin roster that can recover health (outside of trolls and Grom the Paunch), that alone means these creepers cannot be overlooked. This ability allows them to trade more effectively when skirmishing with enemy light cavalry or harassing enemy archers. They are useful in a wide variety of scenarios, skirmishing, chasing off routing units, poking large units, and shutting down enemy artillery.
