Description[]
Druzhina are drawn from minor Kislevite nobility, and consist of landowning men of sufficient means that they can afford a horse, armour and weapons with which to defend the Motherland when called upon by the Tzar. As is befitting of members of the establishment, Druzhina have disdain for city-dwellers, and are keen on preserving the rural hierarchy that provides their power and status, but are also self-sufficient, resourceful and have a healthy attitude to the very real likelihood they will be killed during military service. In addition to their bow, the Druzhina's main weapon of choice is the Great Axe – very nasty, when swung with conviction!
Attributes[]
Great Axe Infantry
- ▲ Armoured: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from
Armour-Piercing damage.
- ▲ Armour-Piercing: The damage of
armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.

Strategy[]
The Druzhina is a jack-of-all-trades ranged lord with a plethora of support skills, including the always-useful Restock ability, which will keep your Little Groms and Streltsi firing throughout a protracted fight. Though he is at his best sniping from behind the front line, he is capable of holding his own in close combat as well, although keep him away from melee specialists.
The passive buffs he offers some of Kislev less showy units such as Horse Archers makes him a strong choice as your first generic lord recruit, so long as he gets magical support - ideally from Hags, who he can give regeneration.
