War is but the beginning of true innovation.

Master Engineer is an Reikland Empire Hero unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III with Thrones of Decay.

Recruitment[ | ]

Description[ | ]

The individuals skilled and eccentric enough to earn the position of Imperial Engineer are obsessed with designing new machines and technological marvels, eager to watch their contraptions tear through the enemies of the Empire. However it is not just their positions as inventors and suppliers of deadly weapons that make Engineers valuable on the battlefield. While not soldiers, they are still part of the Emperor's armed forces, and can often be found taking advantage of 'battlefield conditions' to snipe at the enemy with a variety of powerful experimental rifles and handguns.

Attributes[ | ]

  • Emp master engineer Support Specialist
  • Ballistics Expert: This unit improves all nearby friendly missile units.
  • Armour-Piercing Missiles: The damage of Modifier icon armour piercingarmour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.

Use them as how you use the Dwarf's Master Engineer: Stay back behind the lines and snipe down important armored single entities while using Restock to provide ammo for ranged units. You get extra bonuses if you don't move the Hero for a while with Blackpowder Discipline.
