Brutal even for a butcher, armed to the teeth, utterly singular in purpose, and with three heads. Your chances? Next to zero.

THe Exalted Hero of Tzeentch is a Tzeentch Tzeentch and Warhost of the Apocalypse Warriors of Chaos Hero unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III, added with Patch 4.2.0 to Shadows of Change.

Description[ | ]

The Exalted Heroes of Tzeentch are ostensibly the most bizarre and macabre of the Lord of Change’s mortal servants. Their armour is typically Tzeentchian, inlaid with bands of gold and bluish-silver and assembled from strangely curving components, but it is the God of Magic’s generous gift of two extra heads that sets His Exalted Heroes apart from others on the battlefield. It is a change that irrevocably affects the mind, splitting a Hero’s mortal personality into three conniving extremes. With eyes sealed shut, the central head jeers the whims of the two other personalities dwelling in the leering cyclopean heads on either side. Yet with a singular will, the creature swings its Great Axe with Tzeentch-imbued strength.

Attributes[ | ]

  • Infantry spear halberd Halberd Infantry
  • Armoured: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Modifier icon armour piercingArmour-Piercing damage.
  • Barrier: This unit has a barrier that absorbs damage until depleted. When not taking damage, the barrier will slowly replenish. Maximum barrier health is proporsional to remaining unit health.
  • Anti-Large: Anti-Large: Anti-large units have an advantage against targets that are at least as large as a horse. This advantage can be a Modifier icon bonus vs largedamage bonus against large targets or an attack that focuses on a very small area. However, some units are simply better against large targets because their attacks are slow and easy to dodge by skilled melee combatants.
  • Melee Expert: Melee Experts might have a very strong melee attack or melee defence, or high values in both. Some also have melee-focused skills like Charge Defence. Use them to counter other strong melee units. When facing them, it is best to take them out before they can enter melee.

Strategy[ | ]

Exalted Heroes of Tzeentch are a martial hero that wields a huge halberd to attack. Given its impressive stats and well-rounded skills, it makes a powerful front line unit for a faction that generally relies on magic and ranged attacks. Eventually taking to the sky on a Disc of Tzeentch, this hero is surprisingly mobile - and able to exploit the naturally regenerating shield which Tzeentch units possess.

Out of every "anti-large Hero" units, Exalted Hero of Tzeentch is possibly the best one. This hero can do everything other heroes can, but better. Strangely enough, being on a Chaos Chariot still makes this Hero an anti-large unit so try not mistaking this unit for an average anti-infantry unit.
