Exalted Lord of Change (Metal) is a Tzeentch and Daemons of Chaos Lord unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III.
Recruitment[ | ]
- Tzeentch and Daemons of Chaos
- Recruited with: Exalted of Tzeentch dilemma
Description[ | ]
A Lord of Change is hideously unpredictable and manipulative. Behind its gaze lies a curious and wreckful mind, deeply intelligent, yet as uncaring of consequence as it is fascinated by it. It is like a child playing upon some gigantic anthill, poking with a stick at its inhabitants and laughing at the hopeless antics of their defence. Nothing pleases him more than to see the world broken and made anew, to redirect the course of a life or even history itself, spilling hope upon the ground while raising the ambition of others up to an unexpected pinnacle of power.

Strategy[ | ]
A straight upgrade from a Herald of Tzeentch, now capable of self-defense and offense (assuming the target is low-decent armored infantry and not a melee-focused Lord/duelers) with a respectable charge bonus along with having more HP and capable of causing Fear and Terror with 2 new powerful abilities: Stalking and remaining hidden for a period of time, allowing this Lord to go around the enemy lines with it's speed to destroy atillery or fighting weaker spellcasters or preventing the enemy from attacking with it's Gaze of Fate, allowing your ranged units to destroy damage-dealers or important targets (high value infantry units, dangerous enemy Lords,...) that can cause significant damage. They keep the ability to fly to cast spells wherever it's needed from the Herald of Tzeentch on a Burning Chariot, making spellcasting wherever it's needed easier. Other than that, the Exalted Lord of Change's hitbox is bigger than the Herald of Tzeentch (but the Herald of Tzeentch already has a considerable amount of hitbox with the Burning Chariot anyway) making it more vulnerable to ranged units, but the barrier should protect this Lord from harm for a while. Put this Lord far from ranged units to recover the barrier before sending in again. Last but not least, this specific variant uses the Lore of Metal.
