Fire Rain Rocket are a

Description[]
Rocket launchers are used extensively in the armies of Grand Cathay. Inaccurate but deadly, they hurl explosives long distances, usually in great numbers to saturate an entire area in flame and shrapnel, but are equally able to deliver single massive rockets against monsters or fortifications. The Fire Rain Rocket Battery is a portable war machine, drawn by oxen and crewed by soldiers of Nan-Gau. From its snarling Dragon mouth, it fires either a hail of incendiary rockets to set a section of battlefield alight, or a larger lone explosive able to blast a hole in enemy formations.

Somewhat inaccurate but unspeakably deadly, the Fire Rain Rocket is best aimed directly at the largest concentration of your enemy's troops, where it has the best chance of landing its shots. Compared to the Empire's Helstorm Rocket Battery, the Fire Rain Rocket has less range and ammunition, but higher damage per volley, tighter spread and flaming projectiles.
While a powerful enough weapon on its own, the Fire Rain Rocket has enough synergies throughout Cathay's roster to make it a central part of your strategy. The Luminark Lens, awarded from completing a caravan to Altdorf, gives the entire enemy army a -40% weakness to fire damage, in particular obliterating the advantage Chaos Dwarfs otherwise would have against it. Handed the Lord Magistrate's Inspired Marksmanship ability, its spread becomes tight enough to practically nuke enemy formations.
Make sure to turn fire at will off on it, however: its scanty ammo needs to be conserved in lengthier engagements, and it can and will blast your own front line if you aren't careful.
