The Dark Prince’s touch warps His followers’ flesh, but the mind is where the greatest damages are wrought.

Forsaken of Slaanesh are a Warriors of Chaos, Daemons of Chaos and Slaanesh melee infantry unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III with Champions of Chaos.

Recruitment[]

Description[]

Slaanesh, being the most capricious and wantonly cruel of the Ruinous Powers, takes great delight in the happy accidents that come about from the warping changes His supplicants suffer from receiving His gifts. Such changes may be in body, but for those without the sufficient mental fortitude, their resulting forms are also reflections of souls broken by excess. Those doomed to such a fate will have lived at least some of their lives exceeding mortal limitations, so by the time Slaanesh’s changes takes hold all that remains is a soulless husk driven by the hollow desires of one who has both imposed and endured unimaginable forms of suffering.

Attributes[]

  • Melee Infantry
  • Armoured: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage.
  • Damage Dealer: This unit has a strong emphasis on dealing damage. If fighting it, make sure to take it out before it can get into firing or melee range.
  • Frenzy: Units with frenzy cause more damage while their leadership is high.

Passive Abilities[]

Strategy[]

The mark of Slaanesh serves the Forsakens' strengths well, aiding them in the role of fast armored infantry. They gain 5% physical resistance and speed, immune to psych and Devastating Flanker for crushing rear charges. They can form a fast infantry flanking force with Daemonettes, using their toughness to block off any interception while the Daemonettes strike any armored targets. They are also tough enough to run up the center against non-armor piercing enemies and can make a front line that moves much faster than marauders or chaos warriors and can keep up with trolls or Chaos spawn, which stack nicely on them in melee.

Forsaken will bully Tier 1-2 enemy infantry but will falter against anything with armor or armor piercing.
