This unit can only be recruited by the Wargrove of Woe faction.

Recruitment[]

Description[]

The Forest Wolves of the Old World have oft been the subject of mythology and folklore, foreboding beasts of the wild that those who get lost in the woods pray they never encounter. The common wolf was once widely distributed across the world, but hunting and culling left only the toughest and most vicious of the species still roaming in the wilds. Once set upon by a pack of wolves, it is unlikely one will outrun them – their long legs, large feet, and deep but narrow chests make up an animal built for stamina and travel. Combined with its keen senses, large canine teeth and powerful jaws, it truly is one of the most feared natural predators of the forest.

Attributes[]

  • War Beasts
  • Forest Stalker: This unit gains bonuses to melee defence and accuracy while fighting within the forest.
  • Very Fast: This unit can run circles around most other units, taunting and harrassing the enemy or evading its missile fire.
  • Vanguard Deployment: This unit can deploy in an expanded deployment area, allowing it to start the battle within striking distance of the enemy - or somewhere unexpected.
  • Weak Against Armour: This unit's attack can hardly punch through armour and is thus wasted on heavily armoured enemies.

Strategy[]

These wolves are really powerful early game unit that can fill the role of cavalry, as Drycha its always good to have 2 units of these early game to destroy any fleeing units or archers and artillery, definitely should not be underestimated in campaign.
