Hell-Forge Armoury

The Hell-Forge is a campaign mechanic for the Chaos Dwarfs.

Overview[]

The Hell-Forge allows Chaos Dwarfs to spend Armaments to increase the unit cap for their non-Greenskin units and improve those units with special abilities.

Armoury[]

The Armoury is the section of the Hell-Forge where you increase the unit caps for Chaos Dwarf units. All units in the Chaos Dwarf roster have caps except for Labourer and Hobgoblin units. Regiments of Renown and Military Convoys are not affected by unit caps. Each time you increase a unit's cap, the Armament cost to further increase it goes up.

Weapon variants of the same unit share a unit cap, as do all artillery and war machines other than the Hellcannon.

Units in the Armoury are organized in categories. When the total unit cap for a category reaches certain thresholds, upgrades for those units are unlocked in the Manufactory.

Manufactory[]

The Manufactory is the section of the Hell-Forge where you improve your units with special forgecraft options. New options are unlocked for a category of units when the total unit cap for that category reaches certain thresholds. It costs Armaments to apply a forgecraft option, and then that same cost is subtracted from your Armaments each turn. The cost is multiplied by the number of units benefitting from the forgecraft (outside of garrisons and Military Convoys). You can add or remove multiple forgecraft options at the same time, but once they are applied you will not be able to make any changes to that unit category for three turns.
