High Elves unit roster

High Elves have a very well-rounded roster that includes good units across the board: their melee infantry is very cost effective, being able to hold their own, and even some elite units are capable of dealing huge damage to single entities or enemy elite units. Their missile infantry is excellent and quite varied, with good skirmishers and hybrid units able to hold their own in melee. At the same time, the Asur have decent low to mid tier cavalry and powerful monsters, and in regards of magic options, High Elves have access to the biggest amount of lores of magic and are one of the best races in that field. However, their elite units are expensive and have low entity numbers, and while their chariots can deal a lot of damage, they are very fragile and microintensive. High Elves also have only one option in regards to artillery.

High Elves require Total War: Warhammer II to be playable, with The Queen and the Crone and The Warden and the Paunch DLCs adding several more units to their roster.
