Infamy

Infamy is a unique mechanic for Vampire Coast. Their lords compete with one another through their deeds to gain infamy. The most infamous pirates may seize verses of the Lost Sea Shanty.

General information

• Pirates of the Vampire Coast gain Infamy by winning battles, claiming settlements, and establishing Pirate Coves.
• The Infamy rank of the faction leader can be seen at the top of the screen when playing as a pirate Lord of the Vampire coast.
• A pirate Lord will rise up the ranks of the Infamy list as they gain Infamy.
• Pirate Lords who hold verses of the Lost Sea Shanty can be provoked into a confrontation by overtaking them on the Infamy list.
• It is also used for unlocking Vampire Coast Unique Lord's by researching the relevant technologies. Each costs 2000 Infamy.
• Certain actions that help maintain regular Vampire Captainlords Loyalty come at the cost of draining small amounts of Infamy.
