Iron Coast is a province introduced in Total War: Warhammer III, located in Naggaroth.
Background[]
West of the Iron Mountains lies the Iron Coast, a desolate and rarely trodden region of ill reputation, even amongst the Dark Elves. It borders the Boiling Sea, so called for the numerous volcanic vents it contains. Many exotic sea creatures are attracted by the heat in these otherwise frigid waters, such as the Kharibdyss, and the bravest of the Beastmasters come here in the hopes of capturing and taming these incredibly dangerous beasts.
Nestled somewhere deep in these barren hills lies The Altar of Ultimate Darkness, a centre of concentrated Chaotic corruption. No light can penetrate the interior of this tall citadel, and the identity of the things that inhabit it are thus unknown. Battling to its very heart and there sacrificing what is most precious to you is said to be the first task of he who wishes to be crowned Everchosen.
Rumours abound that another legend has come to inhabit the Iron Coast - this one of purest white hair, seeking to right a millenia-old wrong and bring the doom of the Dark Elves down on them at last. This is likely pure paranoia on their part, though.
