Knights of the Realm with magic damage, the ability to cause fear, and encourage allies. Magic damage can be pertinent in a couple of matchups such as fighting the tree spirits of the [[Wood Elves]] or some other large unit with physical resistance. Fear is always solid and helps break enemies quicker, it is also not super common on the Bretonnian roster (fear does not stack) so it will always be effective. Encourage is good because cavalry units are often fighting far away from the front lines and maybe far away from characters that can boost cavalry leadership. These Knights can fulfill that role and keep ally cavalry in the fight longer.{{Navbox bretonnia units}}

Knights of the Lionhearted are a Bretonnia Regiment of Renown unit. The Knights ride down their enemies with a thunderous charge and a cry of valour.

Description

From the home of the first great Grail Companion, Thierulf the Lionhearted, come the most ferocious of Bretonnia’s Knights. The Knights of the Lionhearted wield powerful, blessed lances and possess a presence which inspires all who fight alongside them, whilst striking fear into those they fight against. All but immune to terror and panic, these brave knights are one of the few Regiments of Renown within fair Bretonnia.

Attributes

  • Armoured & Shielded: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage. Shields have a chance of blocking arrows, bolts, rifle shots and similar small arms fire - but only in a forward facing arc.
  • Anti-Large: Anti-large units have an advantage against targets that are at least as large as a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against large targets or an attack that focuses on a very small area. However, some units are simply better against large targets because their attacks are slow and easy to dodge by skilled melee combatants.

Knights of the Realm with magic damage, the ability to cause fear, and encourage allies. Magic damage can be pertinent in a couple of matchups such as fighting the tree spirits of the Wood Elves or some other large unit with physical resistance. Fear is always solid and helps break enemies quicker, it is also not super common on the Bretonnian roster (fear does not stack) so it will always be effective. Encourage is good because cavalry units are often fighting far away from the front lines and maybe far away from characters that can boost cavalry leadership. These Knights can fulfill that role and keep ally cavalry in the fight longer.Template:Navbox bretonnia units
