Logey Bogey’s Spore ‘Splodaz (Snotling Pump Wagons) are a Greenskins Regiment of Renown war machine unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer II with The Warden and the Paunch.
Recruitment[ | ]
Description[ | ]
The devilish contraption known as the Snotling Pump Wagon is no ordinary chariot, but more of a primitive fighting platform on wheels. They are built and crewed by the pea-brained Snotlings, smallest of the Greenskin races and cousins to the much larger Orcs. It is a great wonder of the world that they can build such war machines, since the runts barely know how to use tools and often struggle to even pick their own noses. It seems that Snotlings are particularly affected by the strange energies that drive Waaagh! events, scuttering together at such times to hastily assemble their Pump Wagons, and later providing the momentum to drive them forward with primitive cranks and belts. The various killing-contraptions often fitted to the front of the crudely constructed wagons help inflict fatal injuries as they roll over any foes (or crew) that fall before them.
Attributes[ | ]
- War Machine
- ▲ Explodin' Spores: When this unit charges, the volatile spores mounted upon it explode with dramatic effect and slowly regrow while out of combat.
- ▲ Armour-Piercing: The damage of armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
- ▲ Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
- ▲ Expendable: This unit is comparably cheap to recruit, maintain and replenish.
