Description[ | ]
The tribes of Northmen that flock southwards with any Chaos invasion are known by those in their path as Chaos Marauders, natural fighters born into hardship and brought up in a world where surviving each day is no small victory. They have no time for plough or sickle, for their tools are the axe, the sword and the shield. What their own lands cannot provide, they simple take from the lands of lesser men. They have little fear of dying in battle, for they know that they fight under the scrutiny of their gods, and that cowards are beneath their deities' notice
Attributes[ | ]
Great Axe Infantry
- ▲ Armour-Piercing: The damage of
armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.

Strategy[ | ]
These great axe infantry are effective anti-armor units, but in addition to being more expensive they have no shield and lower melee defense. They are extremely vulnerable to missile fire. While helpful in a pinch, Chaos Warriors (Great Weapons) are far less brittle and more likely to both get to their targets and kill them without losing most of their number.
