Miao Ying is a Grand Cathay Legendary Lord introduced in Total War: Warhammer III.

In the campaign, she leads The Northern Provinces faction.

Description[]

Miao Ying, the Storm Dragon, Leader of the Northern Provinces, Defender of the Great Bastion, Daughter of the Dragon Emperor and Supreme Matriarch of Nan-Gau is a great leader in Grand Cathay, and an immortal dragon who can take human form. She commands the armies of the Great Bastion. She has ruled over the Northern Provinces for centuries and maintains their defenses with strength of arms and wondrous war machines. For the Great Bastion is the shield that protects Cathay from the Ruinous Powers of the north and while it stands strong so too does Cathay prosper. Her task defending Grand Cathay against the forces of Chaos to the north is made all the more difficult when the Lords of Nan-Gau scheme against each other and against her. Miao Ying is perhaps the most favoured among her siblings, and can be aloof and cold, which has generated some resentment from the others, particularly Zhao Ming.
