Total War: WARHAMMER Wiki

Military access is a type of agreement in diplomacy.

How it works[]

  • Normally, one faction's armies being in another faction's territory counts as trespassing (entering without permission). This causes the faction whose land was trespassed on, to have negative diplomatic modifiers (negative attitude) towards the trespassing faction.
  • With a Military Access agreement, 2 factions agree to let each other's armies pass through each other's territory, and it doesn't count as trespassing.
  • Additionally, in Total War: Warhammer III, faction A can warn faction B to leave their lands (this includes the player, who can click a small button above a trespassing army). If faction B doesn't leave after 2 turns, then faction A can declare war on faction B without losing any reliability/trustworthiness rating. This is useful when another faction is raiding your land without actually attacking (attacking would count as them declaring war on you, while raiding does not).
  • Factions which are in an alliance together automatically have military access with each other. Likewise with factions that are the master/vassal of one-another.
