Mutant Rat Ogres are a much more grotesque variant of the Rat Ogre.
It is in every Moulder's nature to want to improve upon something that is already a success, and occasionally they even succeed. The cream of the Rat Ogre creations in Clan Moulder's possession sport extra limbs, heads and even minds since Throt perfected the practice of transplanting human brains into Rat Ogre bodies.
- ↑ Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
- ↑ Armour-Piercing: The damage of armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
- ↑ Frenzy: Units with frenzy cause more damage while their leadership is high.
Basically a unit of rat ogres consolidated into a single entity, performing the same role of charging into enemy units and dealing high damage. It does not perform as well against large numbers of higher-tier units on its own, requiring a frontline of allied infantry to soak up the damage. However, it's increased mass does allow for it to break and disrupt most unit formations more easily. Maximize its effectiveness by buffing it with spells and abilities; packmasters are especially good to pair with.
