Description[ | ]

Mutant Rat Ogre are a much more grotesque variant of the Rat Ogre. It is in every Moulder's nature to want to improve upon something that is already a success, and occasionally they even succeed. The cream of the Rat Ogre creations in Clan Moulder's possession sport extra limbs, heads and even minds since Throt perfected the practice of transplanting human brains into Rat Ogre bodies.

Attributes[ | ]

  • Giant Monster
  • Armour-Piercing: The damage of Modifier icon armour piercingarmour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
  • Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
  • Frenzy: Units with Wh main unit passive frenzyfrenzy cause more damage while their Morale characterleadership is high.

Basically a unit of rat ogres consolidated into a single entity, performing the same role of charging into enemy units and dealing high damage. It does not perform as well against large numbers of higher-tier units on its own, requiring a frontline of allied infantry to soak up the damage. However, it's increased mass does allow for it to break and disrupt most unit formations more easily. Maximize its effectiveness by buffing it with spells and abilities; packmasters are especially good to pair with.
