'''Name of Power - The Hydra''' is a unique Martial [[Names of Power|Name of Power dilemma]] for the [[Dark Elves]] race introduced in ''Total War Warhammer II'' and which grants a unique name and associated permanent character combat skill bonuses to any standard lord and the [[Master]] hero. The player is presented with two specific names, Hydrablood and Soulblaze, from the pool of Martial names which itself contains twelve options. This unique duo enables the player to chose between enabling [[flaming attacks]], huge [[fire resistance]] and moderate [[armour]] bonuses ; or the common [[regeneration]] passive unit ability. The lord or hero will be given a [[Character traits|trait]] with the same name as the chosen name which cannot be lost in the campaign or in battle due to action effects. <br /> ==In-game description== <blockquote>''A routine hunt turned to drama when a beast of legend - the Hydra - was awoken! In a battle for the ages, you defeated the beast after fighting all day and the following night too. Now, however, the monster is vanquished. Hos best to celebrate your victory?''</blockquote> ==Requirements== *Player is [[Dark Elves]] faction *Lord or hero has the "''Martial Name of Power''" skill in their skill tree *Player spends one [[Experience and rank|skill point]] on the "''Martial Name of Power''" skill ==Trigger timing== *As soon as all requirements are met there is a 100% chance the dilemma will trigger immediately. ==Options== ===Option 1: Wallow in its bile!=== *Name of Power: "Soulblaze" **Name of Power: "Soulblaze" **Armour: +10 **Enables flaming attacks **Fire resistance: +50% <blockquote>''The Hydra's legendary conflagrating breath is drawn from the bile it produces.
