Background[edit | edit source]

An infamous Black Orc Warboss is Morglum Necksnapper, a powerful fighter who has led his mob from the desolate East to conquer many Orc and Goblin tribes around the Worlds Edge Mountains. Those who fight hard enough (and survive) are allowed to join the Necksnappers, a still-growing horde that has won many famous victories.

In 2488 IC, at the Battle of Death Pass, a Bretonnian army was defeated by Orcs led by Morglum Necksnapper, and the Bretonnian King declared the Errantry Wars at an end.

Years later, the Greenskin coalition led by Morglum joined Gorfang Rotgut's Orcs after their siege of Barak Varr in 2503 IC, and in 2507 they attacked Karak Azul together. The Orcs briefly took possession of parts of the hold and Gorfang captured many kinsfolk of King Kazador.

When Franz was uncertain if he should make a claim for the emperorship, The Green Knight arranged a meeting between Franz and King Louen of Brettonia to settle old grudges and convince Franz of his destiny.

However, King Louen and Prince Karl were interrupted by an attack of Orcs from the Necksnapper Tribe. Fighting back-to-back, the pair managed to hold the beasts off until their subjects dispatched the Greenskin horde. With the threat defeated, Louen told Franz to return to his capital and win the election, not for himself, or for Louen, but for the Old World.
