“ | They stand above the droning mass of Plaguebearers, blessed by Father Nurgle with pestilent sorcery and a modicum of individual thought. | „ |
Plagueridden (Death) is a Nurgle and
Daemons of Chaos Hero unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III.
Recruitment[ | ]
Nurgle
Unlocked with: Warpstone Locus, Cultist Camp (Gold) or Cultist Camp (Gems)
Daemons of Chaos
- Selecting a Settlement and recruiting it in the Hero Recruit panel (requires 550 Nurgle glory)
Description[ | ]
Though they share many loathsome features, Plaguebearers are by no means identical in appearance and ability, for Nurgle's Rot is somewhat variable in its virulence and incubation. The longer a victim can endure against Nurgle's Rot, the greater in the Plaguelord's sight the resulting Daemon shall be. From the souls of such hardy individuals are shaped the repulsive Plagueridden, who march in the Daemonic legions as proof positive that even the strongest and ablest cannot indefinitely defy disease.
Attributes[ | ]
Wizard
- ▲ Spellcaster: This unit can cast spells.
- ▲ Armour-Piercing: The damage of
armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
- ▲ Poison Attacks: The
poisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage and/or apply the Poison! debuff.
