| ~ In-game description |
Preyton is a
Beastmen monster unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III with Tides of Torment.
Recruitment[]
Unlocked with: Ghorgon's Lair
Description[]
Dark legend has it that this terrible hatred was born long ago when Beastmen Bray-Shamans created the first Preytons in horrific rituals, corrupting Great Stags before their sacrifice-strewn herdstones. Bereft of their once noble nature Preytons now know only an all-encompassing hatred for that which they have lost, driving them to rend and kill with terrible malice. Corpses mauled beyond recognition and stretches of forest befouled and trampled betray their presence. Anything foolish enough to enter such an area will be hunted down and slain, and often the Preytons will simply discard the torn corpse to rot, killing out of pure hatred, rather than hunger.
Attributes[]
Flying Monster- ▲ Filth-Encrusted Scales: Layers of filth on top of scaly skin give this creature additional
Missile Resistance. - ▲ Anti-Large: Anti-Large: Anti-large units have an advantage against targets that are at least as large as a horse. This advantage can be a
damage bonus against large targets or an attack that focuses on a very small area. However, some units are simply better against large targets because their attacks are slow and easy to dodge by skilled melee combatants. - ▲ Frenzy: Units with
frenzy cause more damage while their
leadership is high. - ▲ Poison Attacks: The
poisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage and/or apply the Poison! debuff.
