Rise of the Tomb Kings is a paid DLC campaign pack for Total War: Warhammer II, which was released on January 23, 2018. It adds the Tomb Kings as a playable race.
Rise of the Tomb Kings is described as a campaign pack despite not adding a mini-campaign (eg: An Eye For An Eye). This is due to poor responses to previous campaign packs. Instead, CA has focused on expanding the Tomb Kings unit roster, campaign mechanics and giving them more legendary lords.
On May 31, 2018, the Resurgent Update was released, and along with it the Bone Giant unit was added for free for all players that owned Rise of the Tomb Kings.
