Sacrifices to Sotek

Sacrifices to Sotek is a unique campaign mechanic to the Cult of Sotek faction.

Each tier becomes available once the player progresses in the Prophecy of Sotek mechanic, with each boon costs a certain number of Sacrificial Offerings.

In Total War: Warhammer II the Regiments of Renown are available through this mechanic and are permanently unlocked once. The banners, followers, the unique Red Crested Skink Chief, campaign buffs, battle buffs, and army abilities are repeatable. The effects do not stack, but the turn duration is additively extended if the boon is repeated while it is already active.

In Total War: Warhammer III the Regiments of Renown are no longer part of this mechanic, instead offering Blessed Spawnings. All sacrifices are repeatable and thus players can gain as much of the buffs, followers, Blessed Spawnings, etc as much as they want and how much Sacrificial Oferings they have.
