Scalded Delta, previously known as Mouth of Ruin, is a province introduced in Total War: Warhammer III, located in The Dark Lands.
Lore[]
River Ruin meets the Sea of Dread south west of the Mountains of Mourn. Running through the territory of the Chaos Dwarfs, by the time it has finished its course the river is choked with hellish effluent and pollution from mining and factory operations. A foul yellow cloud hangs perpetually over the delta.
Despite this, a settlement can be found here - the trading post of Pigbarter. Ogres and humans rub shoulders above a literal underclass of Gnoblars, skulking amongst the stilts that keep the town above the poisonous mire upon which it is built. The Spice Route runs through here, the long and dangerous road to the Kingdoms of Ind.
