Daemonettes visting upon their enraptured foes a razor-clawed ballet of blissful torment and agonised yearning.

Seekers of Slaanesh are a Slaanesh Slaanesh and Wh3 main dae daemon prince 256 Daemons of Chaos melee cavalry unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III.

Recruitment[ | ]

Description[ | ]

Seekers of Slaanesh are the Prince of Chaos' outriders, darkling Daemonettes mounted on swift daemonic Steeds. Malign of intent and with the predatory swiftness of a striking cobra, Seekers dart across the endless battlefields of the Realm of Chaos, springing ambushes on vulnerable prey. These Daemonic huntresses are swift beyond belief. Some legends say that the Seekers can charm time itself and so travel between the seconds. Other tales claim that their steeds are formed from the guilty desires of all living creatures and so can never be outrun, for who can flee beyond the reach of his yearnings?

  • Wh3 main sla steed daemonette Shock Cavalry
  • Armour-Piercing: The damage of Modifier icon armour piercingarmour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
  • Very Fast: This unit can run circles around most other units, taunting and harrassing the enemy or evading its missile fire.
  • Poison Attacks: The Modifier icon poisonpoisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage and/or apply the Poison! debuff.

Strategy[ | ]

Armor-piercing and better stats make these a step up from Hellstriders, however it's not all good news - being daemonic rather than mortal means they will dissolve rather than break if they get into trouble, which is bad for a unit with almost no armor that takes two turns to recruit. With Heartseekers available one building level above them it may be worth sticking with Hellstriders and ignoring them entirely.

Regardless, they show up a lot in Disciple Armies so be ready to learn how to use them. They can hurt most types of enemy cavalry out on the flank, but will suffer in any type of prolonged engagement, so use their speed to cycle-charge them in and out for best results. If the enemy has no cavalry, you're free to get them around the back and into the backline.
