Serpent Estuary is a province introduced in Total War: Warhammer III, located in Far East.
Background[]
Were one to look for a place in Grand Cathay as far away from the eye of the Dragon Emperor as possible, one could hardly do better than the south-eastern jungles of the Serpent Estuary. Lying beyond the great massifs and monasteries of Mount Li, it is a steaming, snake-infested region choked with greenery that the Cathayans themselves struggle to abide in, and perhaps has more in common with Khuresh further south.
It is however a perfect region for Nakai the Wanderer to make his home. It is impossible to know what has brought the legendary white kroxigor to Cathay's shores; perhaps the Lizardmen are reciprocating the dragons' increasing and unwelcome interest in Lustria, not altogether far across the Jade Sea to the east.
