Skulltaker is a Khorne Legendary Lord unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer III with Omens of Destruction. In the campaign, he leads the
Blooded Wanderers faction.
Description[]
The Skulltaker is the Blood God’s immortal champion, the greatest of all Khorne’s chosen Bloodletters. When not campaigning with his master’s armies, Skulltaker roams the Realm of Chaos at will atop his mighty Juggernaut, Kuhl’tyran. He appears before fortress and stronghold, drawn by tales of martial prowess and rumour of mighty combatants who might offer some small challenge. When a foe foolish and foolhardy enough emerges, Skulltaker dismounts from his loyal steed, salutes the enemy with upturned blade and charges forward to claim another skull in the Blood God’s name. Once only did he suffer defeat, at the hands of Sigmar. He still bears the scar he earned that day, and takes great pleasure in repaying the debt upon Sigmar’s inheritors at every given opportunity.
Campaign Description[]
Deep within the jungles of Lustria, the mighty Daemon Skulltaker stalks the land, reaping the skulls of natives and invaders with equal relish.
Attributes[]
Lord
- ▲ Unyielding Assault: So great is Skulltaker's hate for his foes, his
Melee Attack cannot be reduced in battle.
- ▲ Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
- ▲ Duellist: This unit is best used to attack individual targets such as
Lords or
Heroes. As it can only damage very few individuals at a time, it is not suitable against hordes of weak enemies.
