Recruitment[]

Description[]

The Beastmen most ostensibly devoted to the Dark Prince often have a goat-like face and horns, qualities known to be flavoured by their master. What is most prevalent in them, however, is the gluttonous excesses they indulge in as part of their worship, which are as much a part of their bestial nature as blood and pain. Their appearance is one of brutes in pastel-shaded fur – sometimes painstakingly dyed – with horns elaborately curved in the rune-symbol of Slaanesh. They take inordinate pleasure in being on the receiving end of fierce charges, whipping the foolhardy aggressors for their audacity.

Attributes[]

  • Wh2 main infantry dual swords Dual Sword Infantry
  • Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
  • Vanguard Deployment: This unit can deploy in an expanded deployment area, allowing it to start the battle within striking distance of the enemy - or somewhere unexpected.

Strategy[]

With vanguard deploy, good numbers and reasonable stats, Slaangors are a perfect screening unit for more vulnerable and valuable Slaanesh troops. Their anti-infantry stat means that the enemy can't easily ignore them like they can Marauders, as they're capable of breaking through most other types of cannon fodder and doing real damage.

They aren't as well supported as Marauders, and Devotees are better at actual killing, but they're still a valuable low tier option.
