The Southlands World's Edge Mountains, previously known as Southlands World's Edge Mtns., is a mountain province introduced in Total War: Warhammer II. It is located in the Southlands region and can be found in Eye of the Vortex, Mortal Empires and Immortal Empires but has different settlements in each.
In Mortal Empires, the Karag Orrud settlement is located in Charnel Valley instead.
Lore[]
In the far south of the World's Edge Mountains lies Karak Zorn, purported to be the very first Dwarfen mountain hold ever built. The stuff of legend, nobody knows what became of its denizens after it was cut off from the rest of Karaz Ankor - but Thorek Ironbrow has vowed to find it and reclaim it for his kind.
He has his work cut out for him - the rumours of giant venemous spiders around nearby Mount Arachnos are quite true, and inevitably they have attracted tribes of worshipful goblin cultists. Further afield, neither the Tomb Kings nor the Lizardmen are likely to warmly greet beings who have such an insatiable greed for gold.

The starting faction at Karak Zorn used to be the minor faction Karak Zorn until the Thorek Ironbrow free DLC launch.
