Strigoi Vampire Lord is a 
Vampire Counts Lord unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer II with Aye-Aye! Patch.

Description
The pallid creatures known as Ghoul Kings are in fact once-proud Strigoi Vampires forced into a troglodytic existence. Though all Strigoi descend from the same ancient lineage of Ushoran, they have devolved to become something far fouler and more hate-filled than their brethren. The Ghoul Kings spend their days creeping through the hidden places of the world, but under cover of night, they will wreak their vengeance at the head of a shambling army of Undead. At times, powerful Strigoi Ghoul Kings raise vast armies around themselves and push south in a desperate attempt to recreate the kingdom they lost. So far, their advance has always been halted by the warmongering tribes of Greenskins blocking the way to the Badlands, or by disciplined armies of the Tomb Kings that stride out from the desert. Yet across the Old World, the minions of the Ghoul Kings have been sighted ever more frequently. Some say the ancient brethren of the Strigoi are uniting under one leader and massing great armies of degenerate beasts in their cavernous lairs. If this is true, no creature - living or dead - is truly safe from their wrath.

Strategy
More of a duelist character than a horde slayer. Strigoi focus on being a strong and tough character to take down with solid spells to support him. His unique spell helps summon a solid unit of infantry damage dealer in the Ghouls or a generalist armor piercer in the Horrors.
His regeneration combined with hunger and access to the Lore of Vampires basically guarantees that he will regenerate a ton of damage taken.
He only has 15 armor and can get killed pretty easily by focused missile fire and doesn't do well if mobbed in melee by units with melee attack higher enough to hit him reliably.
The Strigoi Bloodline Vampire Lord, while being just a tad more expensive to keep (25g) than the Strigoi Ghoul King, he has has 400 more health, 10 more Leadership, 21 more Melee Attack and 10 more Melee Defense than its counterpart.
The Strigoi Bloodline Vampire Lord's tree is identical to its Ghoul King counterpart, except for a few new powerful skills. At start, he can get "Grave Eaters" which grants -25% Upkeep(all armies) and +1 Recruit Rank for Crypt Ghouls. Once he reaches level 10, he can get also "Monstrosities of Morr", which grants -25% Upkeep(all armies) and -1 recruit duration for Crypt Horrors (the recruit duration reduction is only applicable if recruit duration has somehow been increased, as Crypt Horrors naturally take 1 turn to recruit and the Vampire Counts do not have global recruitment), as well as "The Grotesque Court" which grants 10% Physical Resistance and 6 Leadership to both units also for all armies. Note that while these effects do not list themselves as affecting all armies in the talent tree, a quick test will show that they do affect all armies. This means that by recruiting all 3 Strigoi Bloodline Lords you can obtain each bonus three times over, appreciably boosting the power and decreasing the upkeep of Crypt Ghouls and Horrors.
Also at level 10 he unlocks his unique trees: 1. Curse of Vorag (10% Physical Resistance) 2. Bestial Monstrosity (+20% hit points) 3. Ghoul King of Ushoran, or 1. Infinity Hatred (+10 Melee Attack) 2. Bestial Force (+20% Weapon Strength) 3. Claws of Mourkain
Trivia
The Strigoi Vampire Lord is tied with Tyrion at highest base melee attack in the game at 75.
