The Empire unit roster

The Empire has a diverse roster composed of powerful artillery and war machines, plenty of options in regards to magic, competent missile units and elite melee cavalry, but average melee infantry and fairly weak cavalry. Overall, they are a generalist faction that requires effective combined arms tactics to work to their best advantage.

The Empire requires Total War: Warhammer to be playable, with The Grim & The Grave, The Hunter & The Beast and the Thrones of Decay DLCs adding several new units to their roster.
