Total War: WARHAMMER Wiki

The Lost Valley is a province introduced in Total War: Warhammer II. It is found in Eye of the Vortex and Immortal Empires, and is the starting location for Clan Pestilens.

Background[]

The Lost Valley is a portion of southern Lustria, backing up against the eastern side of the Spine of Sotek mountains. Far from the major centres of Lizardmen activity like Itza and Hexoatl, it has largely been abandoned by them. The capital of Oyxl once contained a temple venerating all bird life, and these creatures continue to be found here in great numbers, both clouding the sky and stalking the plains below. A demonic incursion ruined the city, and though it was driven off the Lizardmen built the underground citadel of Subatuun nearby, a well-stocked bunker complex intended to ward off any further invaders.

It was abandoned as Oyxl failed to be rebuilt however, and the fatal irony was that when fresh invaders came, they likely were attracted by the self-same tunnels of Subatuun intended to protect it. Clan Pestilens now infests Oyxl, where it commits unspeakable acts of defilement and plans the extermination of the cold-blooded ones once and for all.
