The Statue is a unique dilemma for the Dark Elves race introduced in Total War Warhammer II and part of the loyalty game mechanic. This random chance dilemma can only be triggered once for a high loyalty lord and gives the player three choices with differing bonuses and effects, namely: *The crafted Brass Horn enchanted item in exchange for a minor temporary public order penalty *Moderate money payment in exchange for a moderate lord loyalty loss *Huge temporary income from sacking and looting settlements bonus and a major charge bonus for all armies in exchange for wounding the lord The name of the lord that triggered this event is displayed under the dilemma name.
In-game description
One of your Lords has arrogantly thought to erect a giant brass statue in the capital without obtaining your permission. The statue is of Hukon the Sunderer, a minor deity. To make matters worse, you can see this eyesore from your balcony. What should be done?
==Requirements== *Player is a Dark Elves faction *Player has a lord with high loyalty (10) ==Trigger timing== *As soon as all requirements are met there is a random chance chance the dilemma will trigger immediately. ==Options== ===Option 1: Topple the statue!=== *Brass Horn *Topple the statue! **Turns remaining: 5 **Public order: -5 (all provinces)
Melt it down to produce something useful. Hukon is not worshipped here.
===Option 2: Levy a fine=== *Loyalty: -3 *Treasury: +2500
Let's not risk Hukon's wrath by defacing the statue. The Lord will pay a hefty fine for this transgression instead.
===Option 3: Hukon be praised!=== *Character wounded: < lord with high loyalty > *Hukon be praised! **Turns remaining: 8 **Charge bonus: +25% (all armies) **Income from sacking and looting settlements: +100% (factionwide)
What a great opportunity to provide a suitable praise to Hukon? Have the Lord tied to the statue and publicly flogged!
==Strategy== *It pays off to improve lord loyalty and keep it high as this dilemma can provide a variety of bonuses and effects which can support your campaign strategy. *High loyalty dilemmas are triggered only once per lord so it may be helpful to consider how your choice fits in with your long term strategy.
