The Tzeentch tech tree consists of technologies that unlock new advantages throughout the game. Research takes place constantly, but the rate at which discoveries occur can be increased by using heroes to spy or building additional research buildings at your settlements.

Overview[]

Tzeentch's tech tree is divided by 5 tiers of technology with 9 techs each. To unlock a new tier, the player must research a specific technology from the previous tier of technology. Some of the techs have specific requirements, such as having built a certain building, researching a technology or both and some have a cost of Grimoires.

Description[]

Nine is the number of the Changer. Nine are the levels within the perplexing Ninth Library, Tzeentch's repository of forgotten knowledge. Scour the bookcases, learn and indulge in our master's lore.

Fires of Change

Gift of Mutation

Most believe that mutation is random, but the faithful know Tzeentch's instructions for how the flesh will one day warp are inscribed upon the very fibres of one's being.

Arcane Surge

To look upon the standard of Tzeentch, crawling with eldritch, multi-hued symbols, and tempestuos energies, is to look upon madness writ in living cloth.

Thaumatic Locus

The Winds of Magic shift through a fountain of indescribable colours as, somewhere far beyond, the Raven laughs.

Locus of Transmogrification

The flesh writhes and warps, taking on ever-changing, disorientating new forms most minds cannot focus on, seeming even to spasm in and out of existence.

Secret of Chrysopeia

Once sufficient raw materials is seized in the name of the Great Sorcerer, it is but child's play to transmute its essence into materials of great value.

Cult Whisperer

The mind is the one true battlefield. Only by luring more mortals to His ineffable cause can Lord Tzeentch prevail in the Great Game.

  • Spread Corruption action: Tzeentch corruption is increased by an additional 1 (all Cultist Heroes)
