Valkia the Bloody is a Warriors of Chaos and
Khorne Legendary Lord introduced in Total War: Warhammer III with Champions of Chaos. In the campaign, she leads
Legion of the Gorequeen.
Description[ | ]
Valkia the Bloody rose to infamy as the merciless warrior queen of a great northern tribe who cut down anyone who dared question her reign. By the time of her death she had defeated countless minions of Khorne’s brother-Gods, reaching the end of her mortal existence while on a journey of slaughter into the Realm of Chaos to pay tribute to her battle-hungry patron personally. The Blood God raged at Valkia’s passing, His fury so thunderous that it awoke her from death and, taking her in His claws, He reforged the queen into a vision of destructive power.
Campaign Description[ | ]
The Realm of Chaos[ | ]
The annals of history recall many of Valkia the Bloody’s appearances in the world, her arrival always met with fear but also reverence from the faithful of the Blood God who worship her as a goddess. And now the Consort of Khorne comes to blight the mortal plane once again, this time her coming foretold many years in advance by tribal shamans, with the iconic and primitive etchings of the winged warrior-queen long adorning the walls of hermit grottos across the north. As the world teeters on the precipice of epochal events, Khorne’s bloodlust crescendos once more, His violent whims, as ever, to be served unquestioningly by the inimitable Gorequeen.
Immortal Empires[ | ]
Valkia emerges from the frigid wasteland of Naggaroth’s northern extremes to sate the Blood God’s thirst for slaughter... and Elven souls.
Attributes[ | ]
Flying Monster
- ▲ Armoured & Shielded: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from
Armour-Piercing damage.
Shields have a chance of blocking arrows, bolts, rifle shots and similar small arms fire - but only in a forward facing arc.
- ▲ Armour-Piercing: The damage of
armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
- ▲ Anti-Large: Anti-Large: Anti-large units have an advantage against targets that are at least as large as a horse. This advantage can be a
damage bonus against large targets or an attack that focuses on a very small area. However, some units are simply better against large targets because their attacks are slow and easy to dodge by skilled melee combatants.
- ▲ Flying: This unit can fly.

Trivia[ | ]
- Despite being called Daemonic in promotional material, Valkia does not function like a Daemon Unit in the actual game until choosing one of her skills that turns her into a Daemonic unit.
- This conflict of whether she is or is not a Daemonic warrior is also present in Warhammer Fantasy and Age of Sigmar.
