Vanaheim Mountains

Vanaheim Mountains is a province introduced in Total War: Warhammer.

It can be found in the Norscan peninsula in The Old World and Mortal Empires campaigns.

In Eye of the Vortex, the settlements of Pack Ice Bay and Troll Fjord are found in the Albion province. In the The Realm of Chaos, the settlement of Serpent Jetty was moved here from the Helspire Mountains.

Background[ | ]

The Vanaheim Mountains constitute the far western end of the Norscan peninsula, jutting out into the Sea of Chaos with Albion not far off their shore. By the standards of Norsca this is a mild region, with many steep valleys and fjords sheltered from the winter storms and the ruinous winds of Chaos. For this reason it is the most populous part of Norsca, with many farming tribes settled within the valleys and ice trolls making their lairs in the caves that line the fjords.
