In Doomsayers Update, this province was added to Mortal Empires with the settlements Tlaqua and Cuexotl. In The Amethyst Update, the name of the province in Mortal Empires was changed to Southern Desert of Araby and the settlements were renamed to Jaluk Oasis and Wadi El Tabuk respectively.
The Western Jungles is a wide area of sweltering tropical forest in the Southlands. It was largely left abandoned by the Lizardmen until quite recently, when Tiktaq'to decided to reclaim the ruined city of Tlaqua as a renewed base of operations for the will of the Old Ones. In their absence, ever-opportunistic Goblin tribes have stolen in, bringing their spider worship with them.
